The Race
On June 2, ultra endurance cyclists will set out on the world's longest and toughest self-supported race. From Astoria, Oregon to Yorktown, Virginia, racers will cross 10 states and cannot accept support from other racers, family, or friends. This race covers over 4,200 miles, forcing the racers to trek across the diverse geography of the United States at the mercy of weather and chance. The clock never stops for racers and they will have to take a strategic approach to time spent riding, eating, and sleeping all the while testing their mental and physical endurances.
This is the Trans America Bike Race.
