I'm Jay Blanchard and I'm going on an epic challenge.

Starting June 2, I will head out on one of the toughest races in the world. Alone on a bike and without a support vehicle, I will attempt to bike coast to coast. I will battle wind, weather, traffic, desolate roads, hunger, fatigue, loneliness, and the will to ride one more day.

I am doing this for one reason: to raise money for women and their families who have given the ultimate sacrifice—their husbands and their fathers.
